History of the Max & BA Metzler / Alumni Scholarship:
The $1000 alumni scholarship currently carries the Metzler name in honor of Max and B.A. Metzler, parents of nine Pike graduates. B.A. (Blanchalice) was also a graduate of New Augusta High School. Max and B.A. were strong believers in education and supporters of the Pike community. This award recognizes their contributions to the Pike community.

Requirements:
All high school seniors are eligible to complete the application. Additional consideration is given if one or more of the applicant's parents and/or grandparents graduated from Pike High School or New Augusta High School. The recipient will be determined without consideration to race, creed, sex, age, religious or political beliefs.
