The Pike Alumni Association has the following standing committees:

Membership:  maintains Association membership lists, strives to build membership through member solicitation mailings and phone efforts, works with other committees to involve as many alumni as possible in Association activities. This committee shall be appointed as directed by the Board of Directors. 2012: Patty Medvescek, John Booth, Melanie Conley

Publicity and Publication:  handles the publication and mailing of the Association mews letter to members and distributes publicity about the Association activities to local media and community. This committee shall be appointed by the Board of Directors. 2012: Tammy Sampson Moon, Ann Booth

Nominating:  chooses a slate of (11) directors to be presented to the membership at the annual meeting. The chairperson and three other members of the nominating committee are chosen by the President and approved by the Board of Directors. The slate is adopted by the Nominating Committee and shall be announced at the Board of Directors meeting immediately prior to the annual meeting of the membership. Additional nominations may be made by a regular member from the floor at the annual meeting, of regular members, for the elected Board of Directors. Themeeting. The Nominating Committee shall also recommend to the Board of Directors a suggested President, Vice-President, Secretary and a Treasurer. The slated officers will be voted on at the first meeting following the annual meeting. 2012: Tim Friend, John Booth

Scholarship:  committee shall evaluate and select recipients of scholarships endowed by the Alumni Association according to criteria established by the committee and approved by the Association Board of Directors. Nominations of worthy students shall be made by Pike faculty and administration to the Association for its selection and/or interview process. The President shall appoint the chairperson and members of this committee. 2012: Bobbie Madary, Larry Metzler, Clarence Wood, Tim Friend, Evelyn Wilson Potter

Special Events and Projects:  initiates and coordinates events for the Assocaition membership, develops programs to promote positive interaction between Pike alumni and current students such as mentoring programs and career counceling. As various programs and events are initiated, the committee may recommend that separate subcommittees be created to plan and coordinate specific areas. The President shall appoint the chairperson and members of the committee. 2012: Mike Sprovtsoff, David George, Dan Gooliak, Charlie Ward

Finance:  The finance committee shall consist of the four (4) elected Officers of the Association. The duties of the Committee shall be to review the expenditures of Corporation funds, to direct there expenditure to meet the purpose of the Corporation, to be knowledgeable of the sources of incoming funds, to balance incoming funds with expenditures and to prepare and present a budget for the upcoming fiscal year. 2012: John Booth, Mike Tyler, Patty Medvescek, Bobbie Madary
