Normal meetings start at 6:30 PM and they are typically held at 6901 Zionsville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268. The 8/12 meeting will be held at the new Guion Creek Elementary at 1:00 PM (see the Jan 2012 Pike Summit for more details).

Pike Alumni Association Mission Statement:  The Pike Alumni Association actively supports class and alumni activities and uses its resources to award scholarships and to recognize the achievements of its alumni.  It serves to promote Pike pride and a continuing sense of membership in the Pike High School "family."

Pike Scholarship Fund:  One of the Pike Alumni Association's most important commitments is to further the education of Pike students.  The primary manner in which to accomplish this goal is through the establishment of the Pike Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Donations may be sent directly to the Alumni Association, c/o Pike High School, 5401 W. 71st St., Indianapolis 46268. The Scholarship Fund is a way to commemorate deceased classmates, honor events or persons, or make a class contribution.  You may also remember the Alumni Association in your will.  Donations may be made individually or be class-combined.  The Alumni Scholarship Fund is a means to ensure that a scholarship donation is sizable enough and can continue for several years. The Alumni Scholarship is for $1000.  It is available to any Pike High School senior who is in good standing with the school.

The Alumni Association has a physical presence at the high school. The entry hallway to Pike High School is a tribute to its alumni, featuring the senior composites starting in 1892 and continuing through the years to present day. As the exhibit continues down the second hall, the pictures of the Top 10 and, more recently, the Top 25 and their honored teachers grace the walls. The MSD started a new tradition in May 2008 of honoring the Wall of Fame alumni. The 1st group of honorees was comprised of Tom French, journalist, Pulitzer Prize winner; Anne Sablosky, (Hank Phillipi Ryan), author, and tv investigative reporter; Kelly Lloyd, Miss Indiana 2002 and 2nd runner up to Miss USA 2002; David Gadis, President/Chief Operating Officer of Veolia Water Co, Center for Leadership and Development's 2005 Achievement in Business winner; and Jerry Smartt, doctor of psychiatry and neurology, Emerging Black Professional Award winner; and the Mozel Sanders Foundation Humanitarian Individual Award in 2007

Pike Alumni Association History Highlights:  In 1995 the Alumni Advisory Committee (a subcommittee of the Pike Township Educational Foundation) was established and given start up monies; it had 8 original members.  From 1995-1997 the Committee collected and updated lists of alumni.  In 1998 the 1st alumni directory was published by Harris Publishing.  In 1998 the Summit, the Alumni Association newsletter was started.  At the same time the Senior Hall picture collection began.  Alumni were also included in graduation ceremonies to shake the hand of the newly graduated seniors as they exited the stage.  In 2000 we began honoring senior basketball players and cheerleaders of specific years.  An Alumni office was created in the high school.  In 2001 the final group of senior composites was created to round out the pictures from 1892—present day.  In 2003, the 2nd Pike directory appeared.   2008, information is being collected for the 3rd Pike directory.
